Basketball Recap: Smoky Valley Home Educators Takes a Loss

If Smoky Valley Home Educators was feeling good fresh off their 54-13 takedown of Varsity Opponent on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Smoky Valley Home Educators were beaten by the Lincoln HomeSchool Eagles 69-36 on Saturday. Smoky Valley Home Educators was not able to make up for their defeat to Lincoln HomeSchool from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Having lost for the first time this season, Smoky Valley Home Educators fell to 3-1. As for Lincoln HomeSchool, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smoky Valley Home Educators will be home for the holidays to greet Wichita Defenders HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln HomeSchool, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Life Prep on February 8, 2025.
