Volleyball Recap: Abundant Life Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Abundant Life Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Highlands Christian Knights. The Al were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-5, 25-12.

Highlands Christian found their leader in sophomore Makenzie Doane, who had seven aces.

Abundant Life Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highlands Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abundant Life Christian Academy will square off against Sheridan Hills Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highlands Christian, they will face off against Grandview Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
