Basketball Recap: South Lakes Takes a Loss

South Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 44-32 to the James Madison Warhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-38 last Thursday.

South Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for James Madison, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Looking ahead, South Lakes and Westfield will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. South Lakes is facing Westfield at the right time seeing as Westfield is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for James Madison, they and Oakton will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
