Softball Recap: Wink Takes a Loss

If Wink was feeling good fresh off their 16-6 takedown of Westbrook last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wink Wildcats lost 16-0 to the Fort Stockton Panthers on Friday.

Wink's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fort Stockton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Wink didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Sonora on the 1st. As for Fort Stockton, they have also already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Socorro on the 28th.
