Greenville had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Piqua Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Green Wave have posted since August 25th.

Greenville got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 29-31, 20-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Aly Hamilton paced Greenville's offense, picking up 20 kills. Hamilton got some help from Kindyl Peltz and her 34 assists. Peltz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Greenville's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Piqua, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenville will square off against Sidney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Piqua, they will challenge Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
