Basketball Recap: Walker Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Walker Wolverines came up short against The Weber School Rams and fell 37-30.

Despite the loss, Walker still got an impressive performance from Ava Sanderson, who posted 15 points and six rebounds. Sanderson has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Even though they lost, Walker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for The Weber School, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Walker will take on Atlanta International at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Weber School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
