Basketball Recap: Tomball Memorial Takes a Loss

After flying high against Magnolia West last Friday, Tomball Memorial came back down to earth. The Tomball Memorial Wildcats came up short against the Lufkin Panthers on Friday, falling 60-39. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Tomball Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Lufkin, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Tomball Memorial won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hudson at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lufkin, they and Klein Oak will face off at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
