Basketball Game Preview: Stroudsburg Mountaineers vs. Pocono Mountain East Cardinals

Stroudsburg is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Monday. They will venture away from home to challenge the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Stroudsburg will be strutting in after a win while Pocono Mountain East will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Stroudsburg didn't have too much trouble with Palmerton as they won 69-53.

Meanwhile, Pocono Mountain East was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 55-51 to Wyoming Area.

Stroudsburg took a serious blow against Pocono Mountain East when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 73-42. Can the Mountaineers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
