Basketball Recap: Mission Christian Academy Find Success

Mission Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They snuck past the Community Christian Eagles with a 54-50 victory.

Community Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brody Back, who posted 11 points and eight assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Hurley, who had ten points in addition to three steals and three blocks.

The win got Mission Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Community Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Mission Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-57 defeat against Indiana Christian Academy on the 22nd. As for Community Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-43 victory against Calvary Christian on the 22nd.
