Baseball Recap: Hemphill Comes Up Short

Hemphill managed to slip by Onalaska the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Hemphill lost 9-3 to Onalaska on Tuesday. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.

Hemphill's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Onalaska, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Hemphill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Groveton on the 21st. As for Onalaska, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-4 defeat against Anderson-Shiro on the 21st.
