Football Recap: Wake Forest Piles Up the Points Against East Wake + How To Watch

While Wake Forest put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for East Wake. The Cougars blew past the Warriors, posting a 42-0 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Cougars just coasted through the last quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wake Forest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Olu, who rushed for 53 yards and two scores on only five carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and one touchdown. The Cougars are undefeated when Olu posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise. Another rusher making a difference was Stefen Tabon, who rushed for 110 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

The victory made it two in a row for Wake Forest and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 47.5 points. As for East Wake, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4.
