Baseball Recap: Hudson Hawks vs. North Middlesex Regional Patriots
Hudson blew North Middlesex Regional out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday North Middlesex Regional got their revenge. The Hawks fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 6-4.
Jack Finocchario put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Finocchario was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Anthony Moura made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Logan Dome, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for North Middlesex Regional, their record is now 4-7.
