Basketball Game Preview: Rogers City Hurons vs. Hale Eagles

The Rogers City Hurons will square off against the Hale Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Rogers City easily dispatched Whittemore-Prescott on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Rogers City fell just short of Alcona by a score of 40-37 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Hurons in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Hale lost to Posen on the road by a 47-31 margin on Tuesday.

Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Rogers City, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Rogers City came up short against Hale when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 47-39. Can Rogers City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
