Volleyball Recap: Horeb Christian Comes Up Short

Horeb Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-4, 25-11.

Deborah Point Du Jour was a one-woman wrecking crew For Sheridan Hills Christian. as she had 17 aces. Those 17 aces gave Point Du Jour a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mahaila Senatus, who had eight kills and two aces.

Horeb Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Horeb Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Basilica at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they will head out to face off against Franklin Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
