Volleyball Recap: Hernando Comes Up Short

Hernando was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tupelo Golden Wave. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Wave earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Hernando's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Tupelo, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coming up, Hernando will be playing at home against Southaven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tupelo, they will welcome Regents at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
