Baseball Recap: Nampa Bulldogs vs. Columbia Wildcats
Nampa lost against Columbia back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Nampa fell just short of Columbia by a score of 5-4. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nampa saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kai Sena, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Sena also put up a hit, which was his first of the season.
Nampa now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Columbia, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6.
Coming up, Nampa will challenge Vallivue at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vallivue will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Nampa surely won't give up without a fight. As for Columbia, they will take on Bishop Kelly at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
