Salem came out on top against Forrest County Agricultural on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Wildcats walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Aggies. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Aggies: they've now won eight in a row.

Preslea Bobb was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Maci Eggan, who went 1-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs.

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 16-6-2. As for Forrest County Agricultural, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season.

Salem didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-0 win against Resurrection Catholic on the 17th. As for Forrest County Agricultural, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-2 defeat against Poplarville on the 16th.
