Lily Lowery and Caitlyn Tedford stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lowery is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaicey Harty, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Decatur came into Monday's game having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Mae Jemison 19-9 on Monday. The Red Raiders not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th.
Decatur got a massive performance out of Josey Hendrix, who went 3-for-6 with two triples, three runs, and one double. Those two triples gave Hendrix a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lizzie Kresch, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Decatur's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Athens hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .388. It's a different story for Decatur, though, as they've only averaged .244. Will they be able to contain Athens' hitters?
Everything went Athens' way against Decatur in their previous matchup back in March, as Athens made off with a 17-0 win. Do the Golden Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
