Baseball Recap: Crest Ridge Takes a Loss

Crest Ridge managed to slip by St. Paul Lutheran the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 21-1 to the Saints on Friday. The Cougars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Crest Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Crest Ridge will head out on the road to take on Santa Fe at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Chiefs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.83 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they will be playing at home against Lone Jack at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
