Basketball Recap: Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine Comes Up Short

Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-23 loss at the hands of the Robinson Maroons. While losing is never fun, Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 538th, while Robinson is ranked 209th).

Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Robinson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine nor Robinson have any future games scheduled.
