Eisenhower has gone 9-1 against Davis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cadets will take on the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Eisenhower and 16 for Davis dating back to last season.

Eisenhower fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Wenatchee on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7.

Nicole Salmanca made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off three doubles, two runs, and one triple while going 4-for-4. Zabella Hickenbottom was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Davis lost 23-3 to Eastmont on Friday.

Davis' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Eisenhower came out on top in a nail-biter against Davis when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 11-9. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cadets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
