Softball Recap: New Berlin Eisenhower Comes Up Short

New Berlin Eisenhower was the 14-6 winner over Pewaukee when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Monday.

Jayda Karls was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellery Stoltz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

New Berlin Eisenhower now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pewaukee, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. New Berlin Eisenhower is set to square off against their familiar foe Wisconsin Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pewaukee will challenge rival Greendale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
