Football Recap: Waynesboro Comes Up Short

Waynesboro was the 33-21 winner over Gettysburg when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Friday.

Despite the defeat, Waynesboro saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Larry Taylor picked up 71 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 55 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Waynesboro's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Gettysburg, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
