Basketball Recap: Boonton Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Boonton's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Orange Tornadoes by a score of 38-30. The win was some much needed relief for the Bombers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Boonton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Orange, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boonton will welcome Pioneer Academy at 11:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025. Boonton is facing Pioneer Academy at the right time seeing as Pioneer Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Orange, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Vincent Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
