Volleyball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short

Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Baxter Springs Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Southeast was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 11 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Baxter Springs, they moved to 21-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Southeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Neodesha on the 11th. As for Baxter Springs, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Caney Valley on the 11th.
