Volleyball Recap: South Allegheny Wins Going Away Against Sto-Rox + How To Watch

South Allegheny won the last time they faced Sto-Rox and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gladiators blew past the Vikings 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gladiators.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South Allegheny took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-2, 25-1.

South Allegheny found their leader in sophomore Bailey Dececco, who had 16 aces and five assists. Those 16 aces set a new season-high mark for Dececco. Cadence Mcbride also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

South Allegheny was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 39 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive contests.

South Allegheny's win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, South Allegheny will challenge South Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sto-Rox has already played their next matchup (against Steel Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
