Lexington came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Little Axe, but Rebel Doiron wouldn't allow it. The Indians breezed past the Bulldogs to the tune of 63-8 on Friday for which the team can thank Doiron, who rushed for 156 yards and four scores on only eight carries, and also picked up 47 receiving yards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 101.2 rushing yards per game.

The victory got Little Axe back to even at 2-2. As for Lexington, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Little Axe is set to face off against their familiar foe Crossings Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lexington will challenge rival Marlow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
