Softball Recap: Holly Pond Comes Up Short

Holly Pond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Fairview Aggies. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Aggies this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss two weeks ago.

Holly Pond's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Fairview, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Holly Pond will take on Cold Springs at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fairview, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-5 loss against West Point on the 1st.
