Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Sicily Dithomas and Siena Dithomas Lead Mooresville to Victory

Mooresville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns by a score of 2-0.

Mooresville easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-10.

Mooresville was led to victory by Siena DiThomas and Sicily DiThomas. Siena had 11 assists and two aces, while Sicily had 11 assists. Siena has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Mooresville's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for NCSSM: Durham, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mooresville will square off against Community School of Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for NCSSM: Durham, they will take on Roxboro Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Unicorns' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
