Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Canyon View walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Buckeye Hawks on Thursday as they made off with a 59-36 victory. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Canyon View pushed their record up to 21-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Buckeye, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-12.

Coming up, Canyon View will face off against Sunrise Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Buckeye does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
