Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trail Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-4 on Tuesday.

Heritage saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Swyers, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 4-20-1. As for Lebanon Trail, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-13.

Coming up, Heritage will face off against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lebanon Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
