Basketball Recap: Tanner Gets the Win

Tanner won the last time they faced Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering and things went their way on Friday too. The Rattlers walked away with a 66-57 win over the Sentinels.

It was another big night for Rick Seights Jr, who went 10-for-18 en route to 27 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Matthew Fletcher, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Tanner smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive games dating back to last season.

The victory got Tanner back to even at 2-2. As for Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
