Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Bedford Kicking Mules. While losing is never fun, Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Bedford are ranked 160th).

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Bedford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will challenge West Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bedford, they will face off against Pinckney at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Bedford will be up against Pinckney's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.85 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
