Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Patriots vs. Stevens Raiders

The Lincoln Patriots will challenge the Stevens Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Stevens took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Lincoln made easy work of Rapid City Central and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Cobblers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lincoln took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Stevens faced Washington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Raiders came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Stevens took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-21.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Stevens, their loss dropped their record down to 26-10.
