The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Pratt nor Kingman/Norwich made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Greenbacks had just enough and edged out the Eagles 3-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Greenbacks, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Pratt's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Kingman/Norwich, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Pratt will host Hillsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Greenbacks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kingman/Norwich, they will head out to take on Medicine Lodge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
