White Pine never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the GV Christian Guardians with a sharp  19-0 win. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight  runs or more this season.
 Maddox Sedlacek made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and only one walk). What's more,  he gave up only one  walk, the fewest he's  had since back in May of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Jackson Armstrong was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Tucker Maestes, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 White Pine  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as GV Christian only posted  an  OBP of  .100.
The  victory was  the third in a row for White Pine, bringing their record up to 8-5. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for GV Christian, their loss was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-11.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Pine will host Elko  at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for GV Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beatty  at 1:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
