Coginchaug Regional is a perfect 10-0 against Hale Ray since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Blue Devils will welcome the Noises at 4:00 p.m. Coginchaug Regional will be strutting in after a victory while Hale Ray will be coming in after a defeat.

Coginchaug Regional proved they can win big on Friday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Portland 3-2. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Highlanders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Hale Ray fell victim to Old Saybrook and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Noises haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Hale Ray saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony LaPila, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Hale Ray's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Coginchaug Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Coginchaug Regional skirted past Hale Ray 6-4 when the teams last played back in April. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Noises turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
