Volleyball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus lost against St. Anne-Pacelli back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Columbus sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 15-13.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Harris County on Thursday. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will challenge Shaw at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
