Basketball Recap: Floyd Central Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Floyd Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They skirted past the Bedford North Lawrence Stars 61-58. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Highlanders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Stars are ranked 75th).

Floyd Central moved to 4-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Floyd Central will take on Charlestown at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Scottsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
