Erie won the last time they faced Eureka and things went their way on Monday too. The Red Devils walked away with an 8-3 win over the Tornadoes. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.
Parker Hughes and Eli Montee did most of the damage at the plate: Hughes got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Montee went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That double marked the first that Hughes has hit this season. Dylan Kirkpatrick was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
