Volleyball Recap: Scituate Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Scituate can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Bellingham Blackhawks on Saturday.

Scituate was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-12.

Scituate has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Bellingham, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

As of now, neither Scituate nor the Blackhawks have any future games scheduled.
