Basketball Recap: Hamilton Township Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Alexis Wooten and Myke-Kila Dean

Hamilton Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The match between them and the Logan Elm Braves didn't end well, with the Hamilton Township Rangers falling 49-33. The Rangers were down 39-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Hamilton Township's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Myke-Kila Dean, who went 6 for 9 en route to 16 points and six rebounds, and Alexis Wooten, who posted eight points.

Even though they lost, Hamilton Township smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Hamilton Township's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9. As for Logan Elm, the win also got them back to even at 9-9.

Hamilton Township wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-29 victory against Genoa Christian Academy on the 30th. Logan Elm has also already played their next game, a 46-36 win against Washington on the 29th.
