Clarke County entered their tilt with Millry on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Wildcats 26-7. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Clarke County found their leader in sophomore Peebo Pugh, who threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards. 86 of Pugh's passing yards were hauled in by Ja Vun Denson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Clarke County's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Millry, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Clarke County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chickasaw at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Millry, they will take on McIntosh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
