Baseball Recap: Deerfield Comes Up Short

Deerfield lost against Saint Viator back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2.

Deerfield has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-21 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.67 runs. As for Saint Viator, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-17.

As of now, neither Deerfield nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
