Volleyball Recap: West Marion Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Marion suffered their biggest loss since August 5th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Sumrall Bobcats. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

West Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Sumrall, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

West Marion and Sumrall should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings. The Trojans will square off against Tylertown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (32 vs. 172). Meanwhile, Sumrall (ranked 46th) will meet Laurel (ranked 178th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
