Volleyball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Memorial Mavericks, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Cooper was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-23.

Cooper's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Memorial, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-5.

Coincidentally, Cooper and Memorial will both be playing Legacy the next time they take the court. The Mavericks will host the Leopards at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
