Softball Recap: Lordstown Comes Up Short

Lordstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Windham Bombers, falling 20-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Red Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lordstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Windham, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lordstown will challenge rival Bristol at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Windham is set to square off against their familiar foe Bloomfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
