Baseball Recap: Blackwell Comes Up Short

Blackwell fell victim to Crossings Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Maroons couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Blackwell dropped their record down to 4-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Crossings Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Blackwell will be playing in front of their home fans against Tonkawa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crossings Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Chisholm at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
