Baseball Recap: Glen Ridge Comes Up Short

Glen Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 10-3 to the West Orange Mountaineers. The Ridgers were not able to make up for their loss to the Mountaineers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Glen Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fletcher Wiley, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Glen Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for West Orange, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Ridge will welcome Bernards at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for West Orange, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hoboken at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
