Cambridge came tearing into Saturday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Brodhead Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 78-62. Given the Bluejays' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Cardinals are ranked 326th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cambridge pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points per game. As for Brodhead, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Cambridge will be playing at home against Wisconsin Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cambridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matches -- so hopefully Wisconsin Heights likes a good challenge. As for Brodhead, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-63 victory against East Troy on the 4th.
